Injection in the Greater Badonk-a-donk Region

So, I didn't go to work today because although I've had a sore throat for a couple of days now, this morning it was completely unbearable. And also because there was an orange kitten licking my face, making biscuits on my face, arms, body, armpits, and trying to stick her nose as far up into my nose as possible (which to my surprise is quite far, really) all thoughout the night. So those things combined made a very bad morning. I just got back from the doctor's office where after looking at my throat she exclaimed, "Hunny how can you not tell something is wrong with your throat! It's full of puss!" and I promptly gagged on her floor. Ok, not really. But I wanted to because that is gross. Really. So she gave me two options: an injection today followed by popping a pill for the next four days, or an injection every day for the next five days. I hate injections so you can imagine which one I chose. I am sure the injection would have hurt so much more if it were not for the fact that I have surplus cushioning if you know what I mean *wink wink*.

Things with the kitten are going great. We formally adopted her yesterday, brought her home in a brown box and let her explore every corner of the house that she wanted to. By this morning she was already a part of the family. I even caught her snuggling with my grandfather (this is the same man who has never been an animal fan; yes him snuggling with the kitten in his armpit. I have the pictures to prove it. I am sure this is one of the signs of the apocalypse). Besides her incessant, persistant need to lick my entire face and to stick her nose inside my nose while I am sleeping (and thus keep me up an entire night), things are going really awesomely well. Now I just need to introduce her to my two gigantic, slobbering monsters and have them not swallow her whole and maybe just sniff her butt and lick her a bit. I need to make it clear that this kitten is not a squirrel*. No squirrel! Kitten, yes.

*They chased a squirrel today. It's small and furry and apparently tasty.
